Cancellation & Refund Policy

This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to all bookings made directly with Kabeela Resort by City Star, including website bookings, phone/WhatsApp reservations, and walk-in bookings.
For OTA bookings (Booking.com, MMT, Agoda, etc.), the cancellation rules of the respective platform will apply.


1. General Cancellation Policy

1.1 Guests may request cancellation through the same channel used for booking (Website, Phone/WhatsApp, OTA, Email).
1.2 All cancellation requests must be made in writing or via registered booking channels.
1.3 Refund eligibility depends on the time at which the cancellation request is received.


2. Cancellation Timeline & Charges (Direct Bookings)

2.1 More than 7 days before check-in

  • 100% refund of the booking amount
    (or option to reschedule once without charges)

2.2 3 to 7 days before check-in

  • 50% refund of the booking amount
    (or rescheduling allowed with a fee)

2.3 Less than 3 days before check-in

  • No refund
  • Rescheduling may be possible subject to availability and charges.

2.4 Same-day cancellations or no-shows

  • 100% booking amount will be charged
  • No refund or rescheduling allowed.

3. Non-Refundable Bookings

3.1 Bookings marked as Non-Refundable at the time of reservation cannot be cancelled or refunded.
3.2 Date changes for non-refundable bookings may be allowed only at the resort’s discretion.


4. Refund Process

4.1 Refunds for eligible cancellations will be processed to the original payment method (Razorpay, UPI, bank transfer, etc.).
4.2 It may take 7–10 working days for the refund to reflect, depending on the payment provider.
4.3 For cash payments, refunds will be processed via bank transfer only.


5. Modification / Rescheduling Policy

5.1 Guests can request date changes at least 7 days before the check-in date, subject to availability.
5.2 A fare difference may apply if the new dates fall under a higher tariff season.
5.3 Rescheduling requested within 3 days of check-in may incur additional charges.


6. Early Check-Out

6.1 If the guest chooses to check out early, no refund will be provided for unused nights.
6.2 Charges for meals, activities, or add-ons already used will not be refunded.


7. Group Bookings / Events

7.1 For group reservations, wedding packages, or event bookings, separate cancellation terms will apply.
7.2 Advance deposits made for events are non-refundable unless stated otherwise in the agreement.


8. Force Majeure / Unforeseen Circumstances

If your stay is affected by events beyond control such as:

  • Natural disasters
  • Landslides, floods, or severe weather
  • Government restrictions
  • Health emergencies
  • Transportation shutdowns

The resort may offer:

  • Rescheduling without charges
    or
  • A partial refund, depending on the situation

Refunds in such cases are not guaranteed but will be handled fairly.


9. No-Show Policy

9.1 Failure to arrive on the check-in date without prior notice will be considered a No-Show.
9.2 The entire booking amount will be charged, and no refund will be issued.
